1. Responsible party
Mehrdad Torabi ("DANZO"), Puerto Vallarta, Jalisco, Mexico, is responsible for the personal data processed through danzo.dance, in accordance with Mexico's Federal Law on the Protection of Personal Data Held by Private Parties (2025) and its regulations. Contact for privacy matters: hello@danzo.dance.
2. Data we collect
- Visitors: we do not ask visitors for personal data. Our hosting provider automatically processes technical data (IP address, browser, pages requested) for security and delivery. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies.
- School and instructor registrations: name or business name, contact email, phone/WhatsApp, country, city, address, website and social links, map link, dance programmes, online-class option and the description you write.
- Security data: a one-way coded (hashed) version of your IP address, stored only to prevent spam and abuse.
- Messages you send to hello@danzo.dance.
We do not request sensitive personal data. Please do not include it in any form.
3. Why we use it
Primary purposes (necessary): to review and verify registrations; to publish approved school listings; to contact you about your registration, listing or advertising request; to protect the site against spam, fraud and abuse; and to comply with the law.
Secondary purpose (optional): to send you news about DANZO features or promotion opportunities. You may object at any time by writing to hello@danzo.dance; this does not affect your listing.
4. What becomes public
For approved dance schools, the following is published on the site: school name, city, address, phone, email, website and social links, map link, dance programmes, online-class option and description. For instructors, contact email and phone are not published. By submitting a school registration you consent to this publication.
5. Who we share data with
We do not sell or rent personal data. Data is processed by service providers who act on our behalf, under confidentiality: Cloudflare, Inc. (hosting, security and database; servers may be outside Mexico), Resend (sending confirmation emails) and Google Fonts (font delivery, which receives the visitor's IP address). We may disclose data when required by a competent authority or to defend our legal rights.
6. How long we keep it
Registrations are kept while the listing is active and for up to 2 years after removal or rejection, unless you ask for deletion earlier or the law requires longer. Security records are deleted automatically after a short period.
7. Your rights (ARCO) and consent
You may request Access, Rectification, Cancellation or Opposition (ARCO) regarding your personal data, limit its use or disclosure, or revoke your consent, by email to hello@danzo.dance, stating your name, the data concerned, your request and a way to identify you. We will reply within 20 business days and act within 15 business days after replying, as the law provides.
Schools can also request at any time that their listing be corrected, hidden or removed. If you believe your rights have been violated, you may contact the Mexican data-protection authority (Secretaría Anticorrupción y Buen Gobierno).
8. Minors
Registrations must be made by adults. DANZO does not knowingly collect personal data from minors; if you believe a minor has sent us data, write to hello@danzo.dance and we will delete it.
9. Security
We use encrypted connections (HTTPS), restricted and protected admin access, spam controls and minimum-data practices. No system is 100% secure; we will act promptly on any incident as the law requires.
10. Changes to this notice
We may update this Privacy Policy. The current version and its date are always published on this page.
